My Story
My path into event planning began long before it was a profession. In middle school, I planned a full class trip to Six Flags—budgeting, transportation, chaperones, every detail. That instinct grew stronger in high school, where I enrolled in a hospitality and event planning program and gained hands-on experience at events like the Rhode Island Seafood Cookoff. From an early age, I found joy in turning an idea into something tangible that others could enjoy.
Those early experiences led me into Forbes luxury hospitality, where I learned that exceptional service isn’t reactive—it’s anticipatory, intentional, and proactive.
For the past six years, I’ve worked with Smoking Pickles Catering, where mentorship from co-owner Sally Huntington deepened my understanding of thoughtful coordination and what transforms an event from well-run to truly memorable.
Those experiences led me to create The Lorol Effect—a service rooted in anticipatory planning and partial coordination. I step in where structure and logistics matter most, while keeping clients creatively involved.
I learn what makes each event unique so I can think ahead on your behalf, ensuring timelines, vendors, and every detail align with your vision.
Because the most meaningful moments happen when you’re fully present—confident that everything is taken care of.
At its core, The Lorol Effect is about providing intentional, anticipatory support so meaningful moments can unfold naturally.
